Peace of Mind and Saving Money with the Rheem® Gladiator™

Hey!!! I just did something for my parents and I’m so excited to share it with you. It’s going to make their life a little easier, and it may just make yours easier as well.

So my parents are getting older and my siblings and I are always trying to find ways to help them out and take care of them…I mean that’s Mom and Dad we are talking about! 😉 Their house…our “family home” is also getting older. Appliances are breaking, things need to be repaired…the list goes on and on.

When I had the opportunity to partner with Rheem® and install one of their latest, and might I say coolest electric  water heaters, the Gladiator™ I was very excited. I know it’s not a vacation or a new car, but it is something they use each and every day and if it breaks or leaks that means money, messes and lots of headaches.

There is nothing worse than a water leak or water damage in your home. My parents and I have had our share of those. In fact, my husband and I still need to repair part of our upstairs flooring due to our water heater leaking while away on vacation, years ago. It was not a Rheem® Gladiator™ and believe me I wish it was.

The Gladiator™ has an auto shut-off valve for when a leak is detected. If we had that when ours leaked, it would have saved me the headache and expense we are still dealing with today.

I feel so good knowing that I’m giving my parents the peace of mind that they won’t have to deal with a leak or the extra expense and hassle that comes along with it. That to me is priceless.

 Surprise Mom and Dad!!!

The Gladiator™ water heaters are designed with LeakSense detection that provides real-time notifications as well as the LeakGuard system which will automatically shut-off the valve so no more than 20 ounces of water leaks out. How cool is that??? My parent’s old water heater was 22 years old. It wasn’t energy efficient, and the thought of having a water leak was just another worry. I was thrilled to give them this one!!! My Mom has told me she’s noticed such a difference with how fast the water heats up now. They have had nonstop company lately as well, and she’s so happy she doesn’t have to worry about it breaking at the inopportune time or leaking and causing damage. 

This electric water heater is high tech and since it has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, it can be completely monitored on their phones. They will know right away if it’s leaking or just needs to be serviced. It’s so much more energy efficient too which will save them money and that’s so important these days!

It’s funny how as we get older things like new appliances, items for the home and garden get us just as excited as toys when we were kids. But it’s true, we do…these are just our new “toys.”  Knowing my Mom and Dad don’t have to worry about one more thing makes me feel good!
