It is week 2 of the “Shop the House” Challenge. My talented friends and I challenged ourselves to redecorate an area of our home for 4 weeks, using only items we already have! A chance to redecorate and change things up? Ok! You don’t have to ask me twice! I chose our dining room table which is in the heart of our home! You can see how it looked last week here. Check out how I changed things up and gave it what my daughters called an Old European Look. 🙂
I have a confession. I’m a constant changer, mover, and rearranger (if that’s even a word) of decor! There it is, I said it. Who’s with me? I know I’m not alone! 🙂 However, one of my favorite ways to support this habit of mine is to “Shop The House.” No money spent and I can even stay in my PJ’s while I do it. 🙂 I have to be honest, I have a lot of stuff! I’m not a hoarder, I’m a collector. I love so many styles from Modern to Vintage and everything in between. With that being said, I also shop on a budget. I think the fun is finding something amazing and not paying a lot for it! If I find something I love and I can afford it, I get it even if I don’t know where I’ll use it…because I know someday that time will come! So here we are…a design challenge focused on “Shopping the House” what could be better? I have joined some amazing and talented bloggers to show how this is not only possible, but incredibly fun to do! The challenge is to change up space using only what you have on hand, in your home. How fun is that? The area I’ve chosen is my kitchen dining table. It’s a focal point in our home, and I can’t wait to share what I do with you! We also want to see how you do it…so please join in!
