Easy DIY Coffee Bar for Fall!
Who doesn’t love a good coffee bar, especially in the Fall? It doesn’t even have to be just for coffee, it can be for tea, hot chocolate and even smores when you’re ready! I’m sharing my newly created cozy coffee bar and tips for creating your own!
I partnered with my friends from my local At Home Store to share some Wall to Wall Fall Decor ideas. One area I was excited to make was a Coffee Bar, fit for adults and kids.
A Dedicated Space
The first thing I needed was a dedicated space to put everything. I got this sleek black modern cabinet from At Home for the compact design and the storage.
The drawer was great for storing mugs, linens and more. While I love the open area to display things, it’s always nice to have closed storage too.
Stylish Storage
I got these beautiful copper and glass canisters to hold all the goodies. They look beautiful and the copper gives off the perfect warm glow for Fall.
At Home has a great selection of pottery pieces. From the perfect sugar container to an adorable bud vase. Create an area that is as pretty as it is functional.
Fall Touches and Textures
This wood slab piece was the perfect touch for my modern and cozy coffee bar. I wanted touches of Fall and this was just right.
While I wanted some florals, I didn’t want it to look too busy. I added these orange dried flowers and glass vase. It added just the touch of color I wanted and looked great against the black. The texture of the dried flowers with the glass is the perfect combo I think. At Home has such a variety of faux florals and vases of every color and style…you will always find what you’re looking for.
Layers make your decor more interesting, so when I found this beautiful picture depicting a mountain of trees and a cool shot of the railroad tracks I grabbed it. I think adding the unexpected makes a space even better. For some reason this photo reminds me of Fall, maybe it’s the black and white, maybe it’s the image. Either way, I like it!
You certainly can’t have Fall decor without deliciously scented candles. These were not only yummy to smell but pretty to display!
Mix it up with Patterns and Colors
Nowadays there are so many patterns and colors when it comes to mugs, bowls and plates. This is an easy way to change the look of your coffee bar for any season. For Fall I decided to go with the speckled mugs that remind you of camping and the forever loved metal enamelware.
These beautiful black and white bowls added a nice modern contrast and another element of design. Don’t be afraid to mix and match.
Don’t Forget the Whimsy
Since this coffee bar (a.k.a hot chocolate station for the kids) is meant to be fun for everyone…don’t forget to add a little whimsy. Since it’s Fall, we added Mr. Fox. My daughter picked him out while shopping and of course I had to get him. He’s the perfect mascot for our Cozy Fall Coffee Bar, don’t ya think!
So there you go…an easy project anyone can do. Whether you have a space big or small, you can create a spot fun for family and friends with just a few new pieces, accessories, and a little creativity.
Be sure to visit your local At Home for all of the pieces shared here. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…if you can’t find it there…no one has made it yet! They have everything! Thanks for joining me for my First of Two Blog Posts of Wall to Wall Fall Decor Ideas with At Home.
