Add Texture and Character in the Dining Room with Revival Rugs

I talk a lot about adding texture and interest to a space, because it adds that special something every room needs! I recently worked with one of my favorite brands, Revival, to bring that “special something” to my dining space. Come take a peek.

I love the look of neutral tones and lots of white in the kitchen and dining space. But I wanted to add interest and cozy up the space during the cooler months. I decided to do it by adding some one-of-a-kind rugs from Revival.

They have so many to choose from it was actually hard to make my selection. But once I figured out which direction I was going with color-wise, I narrowed it down. 😉

I wanted something with a flat weave, that would work well under the table. Easy to vacuum, yet had the texture I wanted. I fell in love with the Hango rug! It had texture, it had interest and it had a cool mid-century modern design. Even prettier in person and just perfect for the space.

Don’t get me wrong, I do love pops of color. And while I wanted to keep things somewhat neutral, when I saw this small vintage rug in Magenta I had to incorporate it into the space!

This beauty is called the Vlera and it’s sooo beautiful. The colors are vibrant and the size was perfect as a complement to the Hanga. I put it under my bar cabinet. It makes the cabinet stand out and adds just enough color to the space.

Another reason I love these rugs is that they are one-of-a-kind or “limited edition”. They have history and so much character that you just can’t find with pieces from a big box store. They are also pieces that you will treasure for years to come.
