A Peek Into My Style with a Ladies Watch & A Giveaway!

They say our decorating is an extension of our personal style. What does your décor say about you? I hope mine says, I’m relaxed, an admirer of classic, timeless pieces with a bit of the unexpected! 🙂 I’m so excited to share something a little “personal” with you because I picked it out for just those reasons. Tell me what you think? 🙂

If you’ve followed me on Instagram, Pinterest or here on my blog…you’ve probably noticed a few things about my style. While I definitely lean more towards the Industrial Vintage style, I incorporate everything from Farmhouse to Modern influences as well. One thing for sure, I have always loved rustic wood pieces and lately, I’ve been buying some really neat ones like this raw wood mirror from Homegoods. The color of the raw wood makes it even more unique. It pairs up well with this concrete urn.

I’m completely in love with this wood bowl…the grain, the knots…each piece is different. I love how it looks against the white tile in the in the kitchen and the succulent just makes it pop. It gives off an organic, natural feel don’t you think?

And who can forget about our giant hand carved wood horse “Jack” as we call him. When I found him, I had no idea where I would put him…but I knew I loved him. Talk about unexpected…he’s gorgeous and a conversation piece for sure.

I chose this one because it also encompasses my love for navy! HGTV said it is a timeless color and I wholeheartedly agree. I used navy in my first apartment and lately it’s been making a comeback in our home.

Though it’s a color, it’s a neutral one and I love it. I’m even thinking of painting our guest bath navy…but that’s for another day! 🙂 The result of two neutrals…wood + navy= gorgeous!
